Rings are only as strong as tiny pieces of metal and stone can be. When worn daily, wear and tear happens. For instance, gold can wear down or prongs can be snagged open a little. As a fine jewelry wearer, your job is to keep a tight eye on your ring (but with the beauty of Midwinter Co. rings you'll be doing that naturally!) and we are happy to help with anything.

The general experience of the jewelry industry is that if there are any issues with the design of your ring, whether it's a design problem or issue caused by being hard on your jewelry (don't worry, we are too), it will likely show itself within the first few months of wear. We can elongate prongs, add gold, and further perfect your piece so that it is just right. 


Many jewelers will only repair for free what they agree is their fault, but we know life happens. We do have to limit the timeframe we offer our free warranty, but we have teamed up with Jeweler's Mutual to offer two more warranty options - 3 year repair, or lifetime repair!

    Our warranty is a little bit limited, as we are a tiny company, and it is something we offer for free. The majority of companies sell an additional warranty for coverage for anything outside of what they cover, and now we teamed up with Jewelers Mutual to do so too!

    The following care plan is an extension to our warranty. We highly recommend this upgraded third party care plan. With JM care plan, it pays for your shipping both ways, and covers all repairs! Best of all, claims are easy via online forms.
